King County Water and Land Resources Division |  | The King County Water and Land Resources Division protects water and land resources by providing services to safeguard public health, safety and the environment.
Cocker Fennessy was retained to reassess the public's knowledge and preparedness around flood emergencies. The multi-lingual research surveyed 753 residents in the Cedar, Green, Snoqualmie and White River basins. The telephone survey probed knowledge of increased flood risk due to operational changes at the Howard Hanson Dam, assessed outreach effectiveness and measured the current level of preparedness.
