Cocker Fennessy worked to develop a communications and stakeholder plan for ensuring that the new campus development and the north portal of the Alaskan Way Viaduct tunnel are compatible. We worked with a team of consultants and key leaders of the foundation to identify key audiences; develop a communications strategy; craft key messages; draft public education materials including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and website copy; and created and implemented a tour program. We assisted staff in implementing government and media relations strategies. We also helped evaluate the current community relations function in the communications department at the foundation including drafting strategic community relations plans and objectives, looking at organizational structure, writing job descriptions, and developing annual work plans. We continue to provide on-call counsel regarding the campus opening and community engagement issues. |
